Know every subscription.
Know what's safe to spend.

SaveGuard connects to your bank read-only, maps every recurring charge, and shows you exactly what's safe to spend before payday. Then it roasts your subscription list, because seeing the waste is funnier than ignoring it.

Eight ways SaveGuard watches your bills

Connect your bank once. SaveGuard detects, flags, and drafts. You always decide what happens next.

🔍

Reveal

Guess your monthly subscription total, then see the real number. Most people are surprised. SaveGuard shows you exactly what's actually recurring.

Detection
📅

Annual Radar

Tracks subscriptions that renew once a year (software licenses, domain names, annual memberships) and flags them before the charge hits, while you still have time to decide.

Detection
🧩

AI Stack Auditor

Spots overlapping subscriptions (three streaming services, two music apps) and flags the ones showing signs of going unused, so you can decide what still earns a spot on your card.

Detection
🧬

Receipts

Every confirmed action gets a clean, shareable receipt: the service, what you did, and when. Proof of what you actually completed, never a projection of what you might.

Confirmed wins
📈

Price-Hike Sentinel

Catches silent price increases on subscriptions you already have, comparing this month's charge against what you paid before, so a stealth hike never slides past you.

Detection
💰

Refund Hunter

Flags duplicate charges, billing that continued after you cancelled, and bank fees, then drafts the dispute or reversal request. You review it and decide whether to send it.

Drafts, never sends
📊

Safe-to-Spend

Forecasts your balance to your next payday, accounting for every upcoming bill, so you know what's actually safe to spend today, not just what happens to be in the account right now.

Payday-aware
🔥

Bill Roast

An AI comedian roasts your subscription list, savage, specific, and (usually) fair, then hands you a branded card of your best burns to share. 3 free roasts every month, no subscription required.

Common questions
Is SaveGuard free?

Yes. Connecting your bank, automatic subscription detection, Reveal, a manual Safe-to-Spend calculator, and 3 bill roasts a month are all free, no card required. Premium ($5.99/mo or $49.99/yr, 7-day free trial) adds Annual Radar, the AI Stack Auditor, Price-Hike alerts, Refund Hunter dispute drafts, payday-aware forecasting, shareable Receipts, and effectively unlimited roasts.

Is my bank data safe?

Yes. We use Plaid (the same provider used by Venmo, Robinhood, and Coinbase) for bank connections. Your credentials are never shared with us. We only get read-only access to transaction data, encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. See our Security page for the full breakdown.

Can SaveGuard move money or make payments?

No. SaveGuard has strictly read-only access to your transaction history. We cannot initiate payments, transfers, or any changes to your accounts. It's not a permission we have, not just a policy we follow.

What if my bank isn't supported by Plaid?

You can upload a CSV or OFX file exported from your bank's website. This works with any bank worldwide.

Does SaveGuard cancel subscriptions or negotiate bills for me?

No. SaveGuard detects and drafts, you decide and send. We flag what's worth acting on and prepare the cancellation, negotiation script, or dispute. You review it and send it yourself, so you always stay in control of what leaves your account or your name.

How do I cancel SaveGuard?

Cancel anytime from your device's subscription settings (iOS: Apple Account Settings → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Account → Subscriptions). No phone call, no retention calls, no dark patterns.

What happens when SaveGuard finds a bank fee?

We identify the fee on your statement and draft a polite reversal request for you to send directly to your bank. We never contact your bank on your behalf. You review the draft, send it however you prefer, and log the outcome in the app.

Do you guarantee a refund or reversal?

No guarantees. Banks and merchants make their own decisions. We make asking easy by drafting the request; the outcome is always up to them.

What if I'm still charged after I cancel a subscription?

Log the cancellation in SaveGuard before or after you cancel. We track charges that appear after your logged cancellation date and draft a dispute you can send to the merchant's support team or use in a card dispute with your bank. You complete the final step; we handle the drafting.

Is the Bill Roast feature really free?

Yes. 3 roasts a month, no subscription required. It's an AI comedian reading your real subscription list back to you, plus a shareable branded card. Premium raises the monthly cap; it doesn't gate the feature.
