How SaveGuard compares

Bill-negotiation and subscription apps price themselves very differently. Here's the factual breakdown: what each service charges, and who acts on your behalf versus who hands you the draft and lets you decide.

Pricing model

Rocket Money and Billshark figures per their own published pricing/help-center pages as of July 2026. Not our estimate. Pricing and terms change; check each provider's current site before deciding. SaveGuard's own pricing is a fact about our product, not a claim about anyone's savings.

Who acts on your behalf

 SaveGuardRocket MoneyBillshark
Negotiation calls You call. We draft the script and the exact ask Their negotiators contact your provider for you Their negotiators contact your provider for you
Disputes & reversals You send. We draft the dispute or reversal request Varies by feature Not their core service
Bank account access Read-only via Plaid. Cannot move money, cannot act as you Read-only via Plaid Not a bank-linked app in the same sense. Works from the bill/account details you provide

Why this matters

A service that negotiates for you and takes a cut of the savings has an incentive to overstate what it found. SaveGuard never negotiates, disputes, or cancels on your behalf. We detect and draft, you review and decide, and our price doesn't change based on what we find. That's not a promise about outcomes; it's the entire design.
