Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SaveGuard ("SaveGuard," "the Service"), operated by RevenArc LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using SaveGuard, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

SaveGuard is a personal finance tool that analyzes your recurring charges and subscriptions to help you identify savings opportunities. The Service provides:

Automatic detection of recurring subscriptions from your bank transactions
Identification of unused, duplicate, or overpriced services
AI-generated savings recommendations
Alerts for upcoming trial conversions, renewals, and price increases
Tools to assist with cancellations, negotiations, and refund disputes

SaveGuard is an informational and productivity tool. We do not provide financial advice, and our recommendations should not be construed as such.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use SaveGuard.

3. Subscription and Billing

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

Monthly Plan: $5.99/month. Includes a 7-day free trial, then $5.99 charged monthly, automatically renewing each month until cancelled.

Annual Plan: $49.99/year. Includes a 7-day free trial, then $49.99 charged once per year, automatically renewing each year until cancelled.

Cancellation: Cancel anytime through your device's subscription management (iOS: Apple Account Settings → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Account → Subscriptions). No phone call required. Access continues through the end of the current paid period.

Subscriptions are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). RevenArc LLC does not directly process payment for in-app subscriptions.

4. Bank Account Access

When you connect a bank account through Plaid, you grant us read-only access to your transaction data. We cannot and will not:

Initiate transfers or payments from your accounts
Modify your bank account settings
Access your bank login credentials (Plaid handles authentication directly)

You may disconnect your bank account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
Not use the Service to engage in fraudulent activity
Not create multiple accounts or share account access

6. AI-Generated Content

SaveGuard uses artificial intelligence to analyze your transactions and generate recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated insights may contain errors. Always verify recommendations before taking action (e.g., cancelling a subscription, disputing a charge). We are not liable for actions you take based on our recommendations.

7. Limitation of Liability

SaveGuard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RevenArc LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of SaveGuard is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
