Delete Your Account
You can delete your SaveGuard account and all associated data at any time.

What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, avatar)
- All transaction records imported from files or linked banks
- Detected subscriptions, AI insights, and savings history
- Bank connection tokens (we immediately attempt to revoke Plaid access)
- Push notification registrations
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. A recoverable backup copy may persist for up to 35 days as part of standard disaster-recovery backups, but your account and data are removed from the live product immediately.
Choose a deletion method
Delete your account (instant, in-app)
Open SaveGuard, tap your avatar, then "Delete Account." This closes your account and removes your data immediately. No email required.
Clear your data only (instant, in-app)
Open SaveGuard, tap your avatar, then DATA, then "Clear all data." This immediately removes your transaction and subscription data but keeps your account open, so you can start fresh without deleting your login.
Request via email
Prefer not to use the app, or can't sign in? Email us from the address on your SaveGuard account and we'll close your account and purge your data.
